We develop a Galois theory of commutative rings under actions of finite inverse semigroups. We present equivalences for the definition of Galois extension as well as a Galois correspondence theorem. We also show how the theory behaves in the case of inverse semigroups with zero.

High sodium intake increases blood pressure and cardiovascular risk, making reduction a highly cost-effective public health strategy. South Korea, which historically had one of the highest global sodium consumption rates, implemented a comprehensive policy to reduce sodium intake, beginning with a child-focused, legisl...

Carbon dioxide (CO2) is an atmospheric greenhouse gas that feeds all life, plays a critical role in global warming, and could constitute an inexpensive carbon source for future sustainable industries. While synthetic chemistry lacks suitable catalysts to functionalize carbon dioxide in mild reaction conditions, autotro...

Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) drives many critical cellular processes. We have used laser-induced release from a caged, inactive form of ATP (NPE-caged) followed by short X-ray pulses at the dedicated time-resolved X-ray solution scattering (TR-XSS) beamline ID09 at ESRF-EBS to study protein conformational change in rea...

Circuit cutting decomposes a large quantum circuit into smaller subcircuits executed independently; expectation values are recovered by classically combining subcircuit outcomes. Prior work characterises cutting overhead via subcircuit counts and sampling complexity, but its end-to-end impact on iterative, estimator-dr...

Deformation in the Earth’s crust localizes onto faults that may rupture rapidly producing earthquakes, or undergo slow aseismic slip that may or may not accelerate into coseismic slip. Our goal is to provide the first quantitative laboratory observations of the full displacement field in rocks before and during coseism...

We will investigate the coupling between strain and the metal-insulator phase transition (the Verwey transition) in the canonical compound, magnetite. We have shown (HC-4565) that strain caused by lattice imperfections affects the transition temperature, TV as the externally induced strain does. We have also proved bef...
Rayleigh quotient minimization deals with optimizing a quadratic homogeneous function over a sphere. Its critical points correspond to the normalized eigenvectors of the symmetric matrix associated with the quadratic form. In this paper, we consider a homogeneous polynomial objective function $f$ over a sphere, a proje...

Conventional periodontitis therapies are limited by their inability to concurrently address the interconnected challenges of persistent bacterial infection, excessive oxidative stress, and immune dysregulation. To overcome this, we developed an injectable, pH-responsive nanocomposite polypeptide hydrogel, PepGel@ZnO-PL...
Many fundamental processes evolve over months and years, including 1) the strengthening of fault zones in the interseismic period between earthquakes, 2) the sequestration of carbon-bearing minerals in subsurface geologic reservoirs, 3) charge cycling in batteries, 4) the reactions between mixing magmas preceding volca...

Cómo usar el buscador en tu investigación
1
Encuentra antecedentes
